Pete Meldrum Pete Meldrum helps high achievers to accelerate their careers by using his unique combination of business skills, global experience and current coaching practices.

Pete offers a unique blend of leadership and management ability gained through 30 years of experience in the high tech industry. Adaptable and flexible, his bottom-line orientation paved the way for consistent positive impact in turbulent communication markets across Europe and the Americas.


As General Manager for a large product division in Europe he led a business turnaround from a $20 million loss to a $40 million profit within a two year period.

As the Vice President of high performance account teams, he successfully developed senior executive contacts leading to over $500 million in sales. These results were achieved by leading multi disciplined teams of technical, marketing, product management and sales professionals. His customers included: GTE, British Telecom, Cable and Wireless, MCI and Avantel.

In addition Pete was Vice President, Service and Operations in Europe and the Americas . At the peak of the high tech industry in 2000 he led an executive team that implemented $20 (2/3 of Nortel's revenue) billion in revenue across 2000 plus accounts across North and South America.

  

His career at Nortel spanned leadership roles in technical support, sales and general management and included domestic and international start-ups and turnarounds and contributed significantly to revenue expansions, profit improvements, new market penetrations and expense reductions.

Over his business career he has built on his business admin educational base through ongoing internal and external study including Harvard Business School . He is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), has a NLP Practioner Certificate, a coaching certificate from the Coach Training Institute, Intensive Coach training through Coachville and continuing advanced coaching education through the Coach Training Institute.

Pete lives in Dallas with his wife Pat and enjoys spending time with his two grown daughters and one grandson. His outside interests and activities include helping others as an active member of the Dallas Social Venture Partnership and lead partner to Educational First Steps. In addition he enjoys: golf, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, exercising and reading.
