Richard is an energetic leader who has 30 years experience in the global communications networking industry. He held president and senior executive positions in a multi-billion dollar global telecommunications corporation.

While living and working in the United States, Europe and Canada, Richard led high performance teams through major shifts in organization and strategy, as well as business creation, rationalization and consolidation.

He introduced one of the most successful products in the history of the company; as President he grew a division by 25% to $1.5 B and record profits; he consistently raised employee and customer loyalty; in Europe, Richard led a turnaround in business from a multi-million dollar loss to substantial profits in 15 months.

Today’s business world increasingly is relying on executives who can lead in an ambiguous and complex environment with remotely located organizations and diversity of cultures. Richard provides a safe haven in which executives can explore their choices and decide on actions that will quickly move them toward their goals. Richard brings his vast first-hand business experience together with the latest coaching practices to assist busy executives.

  

He has BSc; Bcomm; Business Coaching Certificate (University of North Carolina); a Masters Certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP); an NLP Coaching certification (NLP Institute of California). He is certified in Behavioral Styles(DISC), Personal Interests Attitudes and Values (PIAV) and Attitude Index; and is certified in the One Page Business Plan.

Richard is a member of International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is on the board of directors of North Carolina Association of Personal and Business Coaches (NCAPBC).

Richard lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife. He has three children, plays golf, skis and loves to travel.
